Empowering Students, Equipping Families: A Virtual Executive Functioning Program for Teen Success
Are you a parent of a high schooler or college-bound teen who struggles with planning, organization, or follow-through? You’re not alone—and there’s support available.
This summer, The Parents and Children Project invites students to join our 8-week Executive Functioning Coaching Cohort, a dynamic and supportive “bootcamp” designed to build critical life and academic skills. Whether your student is heading into high school or preparing for their freshman year of college, this virtual program offers the structure, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive.
What Is Executive Functioning—and Why Does It Matter?
Executive functioning skills are the mental skills we use every day to manage tasks, stay organized, regulate emotions, and meet deadlines. For students—especially those who are neurodivergent or face challenges like ADHD—these skills can mean the difference between stress and success.
Our cohort is designed for multi-age participation and built around evidence-based practices in a neurodivergent-affirming environment. Students will learn how to build routines, manage time, set meaningful goals, and reduce procrastination—all while receiving real-time support from seasoned professionals.
